The new moon for the month of Ramadan was sighted on the evening of Friday, August 21, by many reliable witnesses across the North American mainland. As such, the first day of fasting falls on Saturday, August 22. The Ta'leef Collective would like to wish everyone a blessed Ramadan filled with mercy and forgiveness.
