My favorite childhood memory.....I was born and raised in Florida until I was 14. My parents moved to Indiana and I thought it was the end of the world....until winter...I remember the first time I saw snow. It was the most magical thing I have ever seen. It was beautiful. I remember my brother was 7 at the time and when it started snowing, we ... Read Moreran outside and jumped and played and rolled around in the snow. The neighbors were looking at us like we were insane, but it was amazing to us. We played in that snow until we were so cold that our bodies ached. I remember my Mom gathering up so fresh snow and taking it inside and making ice cream (my Dad knew how to do it from growing up in the north). We ate it like it was the best ice cream ever! That was my best memory and I still love playing in the snow whenever I get the chance to go back up north during the winter.
