The theme was a dazzling modern fantasy done completely in white. The ceremony began with simplicity. White drape provided a clean background for a cocoon of lanterns at the altar – all lit by pure white light. Origami paper cranes graced 2 natural Manzanita trees flanking the altar, while mahogany chiavari chairs t...ied the theme together. The modern white theme carried through to the “Shutter booth cocktail lounge” and on into the reception where modern met glam. White cube seats took the place of traditional chairs, the cool industrial chandelier was enhanced with origami paper cranes and lead crystal pieces. The wedding cake was a modern tiered structure holding exquisite cupcakes in laser cut paper holders. The “ice white” lighting enhanced the white drape while pin spot lights added emphasis to the two distinctly different tables scapes. The first table scape, set on an overlay of silver sequins, was an intricate geometric piece filled with orchids, crystals and mini calla lilies. The second table scape was pure romance set on a Swarovski crystal studded overlay featuring different types of pillar candle holders, floating candles and a towering arrangement of orchids, hydrangeas and mini calla lilies. The emphasis was on sweet with the stunning Café a la Carte portable espresso machine at one end and the amazingly creative dessert buffet by Chic Sweets on the other.Read More
