Aja Angel Lois...question. What setting do I need to use to get the look of an object (such as a person) is in focus but the background (let's say trees) are out of focus or vice versa? Is that aperture?

Rebekah decided to see Ben before the wedding so we had her come from behind him, she tapped him on the shoulder and he saw her for the first time in her wedding dress.We had plenty of time for the pictures doing it this way.
