I have alot to discuss, but I'm not sure how much I'll get out tonight as I am so exhausted. We had to leave by 6 am and just got home at 6 pm. Donavynn had to get chemotherapy and hydration from 8 this morning until 2 and then we had to head over to Overland Park to meet w/ his radiation team...

Team Donavynn Hr 42 level - 0.47! Looking good, next level 5 tonight.

Team Donavynn 24 hour level was 116 which is higher than they like, we were assuming it was b/c they had to speed it up at the end b/c the pump was working properly before. Hour 36 level was 1.89 - much better! Next level will be drawn at 11.

We'll have a better idea of how everything will go tomorrow and a more def schedule next Thursday after we meet w/ the radiologist at the KC Cancer Center. Here are some photos of our 1st day here...

Team Donavynn Just got a printout of the next round before maintenance begins. A little overwhelmed... ok I lied, a LOT overwhelmed. Steroids, vincristine, erwinia, radiation and a bone marrow biopsy before the radiation can begin. It's going to be a CRAZY month or so. Pray that all goes well. Thanks mom for all your help, don't know how I'd do all of this w/o you!

Team Donavynn Donavynn made counts so we are being admitted for what we are praying is his final inpt treatment. Praying all goes well and hoping that our prayers are being answered and my little man will be cured in 6 or so years and go on to grow old and have lots of babies!

Team Donavynn September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month - I wear gold for Donavynn. Dx: 2/25/06, CNS relapse: 9/8/09 - just over 1 yr of treatment left - praying he stays strong and kicks cancers ass for good this time! 1 in every 300 child will be diagnosed w/ cancer before the age of 20! Tell everyone you know that KIDS GET CANCER TOO!!!

I apologize for the complete lack of updates. It's been crazy busy w/ my schooling. Donavynn completed his final HD Ara-C stay last weekend. And now we are back in the hospital for a fever. We are guessing it is b/c of low counts. That is pretty typical for him...

Team Donavynn
Donavynn is in the hospital for his final Ara-C admission. So far everything is going well, the fevers are likely on their way but we are trying to talk them into pre medicating to hopefully prevent them. They don't like to do this b/c they have to draw cultures when they spike even if they know it is from the med. ...So I'm trying to convince them to do it anyway and just draw cultures at some point to be safe.Read More

Team Donavynn Waiting to hear about his counts to see if he will be admitted for his final round of HD Ara-C. I have to do my back to back 12's this weekend so Daddy will be staying w/ Donavynn. It's gonna be super hard for me to not be there but I know Daddy can handle it!

Team Donavynn Hour 48 level 0.25, Hour 54 level - 0.1 so after all the drama from last night we can finally leave this morning whenever the nurses have the time to get in here and de access him.

Team Donavynn Hour 42 Level - 0.57 They will draw another one tonight at 6.
