the system not Nike - I would like to see people paid a decent wage too,
but if you pass min wage laws in one country nike and all other simular
firms will just move to another country leaving those you tried to help
in a far worse position of starvation. If you get Nike to raise wages
they will raise prices too and...

subsitutes made by another company who does not pay subsitance wages. I
like the idea of what you are trying to do but getting mad at Nike is
trying to find a quick fix to a problem stemming from capitolism as a

Today I will be meeting with Roger Ferguson, the CEO of TIAA-CREF. TIAA-CREF is one of the largest institutional shareholders of Nike stock in the world. They own approximately $244,000,000.00 of Nike Stock. During our meeting, I will be requesting that Mr. Ferguson use TC's stock position to pressure Nike to make a... clear public statement on the issue of worker's wages. To date, with regard to the issue of worker's wages, Nike has been inconsistent at best and has been flat out lying at worst.
