KAUST opened its doors in September 2009 and to date has accepted 817 students representing 61 countries around the world. Of this group, 374 students began attending classes on the KAUST campus this year. The remainder will enroll beginning in 2010. Students who have earned their undergraduate degree or are pursuing an undergraduate degree and will graduate before June 2010, within the following fields are eligible for the KAUST Fellowship:
