Tom Severin Can't wait for the 2nd Annual Unoffical Sole Sports Turkey Trot on Thursday at 7:00 AM!! The Sole Sports Running Group is very thankful for having the support from such a great group of people at Sole Sports.....the best darn Running Store in the Valley!!

Sole Sports Running Zone Great news talking about a 242 mile pathway linking parks throughout the valley. Looks like the canal by the store is a part of it. Maybe some day there can be a Ragnar Relay following the whole loop.

There's an inspirational woman running through the valley this weekend and she'd love to have some company along the route. In her own words:
I am running to inspire people to find and follow their passions and dreams. Perhaps you have heard from me over the past 2 weeks, or one of your friends gave me your email with... the hopes that you would be interested in RUNNING WITH ME!!!
YES! That is why I am emailing. I have set up some routes for you all to join me on my way THIS SATURDAY, November 21st and THIS SUNDAY, November 22nd. People, ages 4 1/2 to 82, have joined me many days of this trip en route, and I hope the people of Phoenix will come out and pound in some miles with me too!!!
The way this works is that you arrange your own transport to the start of the run (see maps below), and arrange for your own transport from where you want to end back to wherever you need to go. People have convinced friends to drop them off at the start and trail behind to pick them up when finished. Whatever works for you all!
Saturday the 21st: Meet at 7:30am at intersection of 87 (Beeline Hwy) and N. Fort McDowell Rd., Fountain Hills, AZ (this is POINT A). We will run 6 mile segments, have a water and Clif Bar break, then go back out for another 4-7 mile run. End is 2.3 miles before Point B, and will aim to arrive at end around noon. I will walk the last mile.
Sunday the 22nd: Meet at 7:30am at intersection of N. Alma School Rd and W. McLellan Rd, Mesa, AZ (this is POINT B). We will run in 6 mile segments, have a water and Clif Bar break, then go back out for another 4-7 mile run. End is POINT C. Aim to arrive at Point C around noon. I will walk the last mile.
For both runs, run/bike alongside as much or as little as you want, just please make sure you have someone to pick you up when you want to end!
Invite your friends, family, and please spread the word! Hoping to get the media out as well. PLEASE LET ME KNOW if/when you plan to come out! Come out both days if you can!
My cell is (630)660-4597. Call anytime. I text too:-) If you have any questions, don't hesitate to call/email.
CAN'T WAIT to meet y'all!
Stride strong,
