The Office of Marketing and Communications at Texas A&M at Qatar has published the spring 2009 issue of the Aggie Platform magazine. The issue contains a cover story on the Bloomberg energy forum held in March at Texas A&M at Qatar, as well as features on geology field trips, study-abroad programs and research projects.

Registration is available online beginning October 21st. Registration forms can be picked up in any Department of Student Affairs office Engineering Building before 3pm on Thursday November 5, 2009. Race day registration will be available.

The Student Engineers' Council beginning 7 Nov. is hosting the inaugural Engineering Week in Qatar. A tradition from College Station, Engineering Week is designed to promote awareness about the importance of engineering among both engineering and non-engineering students. The week begins with an inter-university cookin...g competition. Other activities include Jeopardy, bingo, and an engineering projects fair.
