Totally ready! If by ready you mean the car needs a cage, wheels, tires, paint, brakes, cooling system, rear springs, etc. But we made a plan tonight on the back of a cocktail naptkin, so we should be good, right?

Scott, the difference is my team worked hard scavenging at the junkyard for our cards. We didn't just merely pass tech the first time (although we did that too)

It was a great event, the WHOLE track and no tires in the way... an orange cone did get knocked into the back straight but only divided it into thirds, one left of the cone for those that dared!

The whole track but they still had that nasty black flag. Saabs are peace loving types but someone found a way to be the aggressor in trading paint with some poor innocent little red car. Must be those CA drivers and their road rage issues. In Texas we have wide open highways and room for all, so says Gov Rick Perry.

Had a blast out there and love the long track with no tire wall and cone set ups. Good, clean lemons event. I like the no peoples curse as well, hate to see the safety work get destroyed for some folks as well as a car down the tubes. Great fun, #45

I heard there was no people curse because of a lack of votes. Perhaps it is a Texas thing...I have to agree with Jason that if a team has busted its butts to build a car, it is hard to watch the destruction, however, for anyone trying to slip in a professional built car stocked with "aggressive, as in rude drivers" the People's Curse should remain... Read More. I think the full track cut down on the number of "bad drivers" more room to pass and not as many objects to avoid hitting which indirectly caused contract. Full track was a good idea.

I'm just glad the weather is gonna be nice for the race :)
