The Art of Crochet by Teresa I would like to wish everyone that celebrates Thanksgiving a Happy Holiday and safe travel if you are traveling. My husband and I will be cooking a turkey with cornbread stuffing, greens, mashed potatoes and sweet potato pie. I am also going to make some pecan tassies to snack on. It is supposed to be sunny this wee...kend so at some point we may wind up on the beach. Happy Thanksgiving!!

Amy Eaton Duffey Here is the third towel I just finished. This one I made using hdc. I think it looks better. The other towel was made using sc.

Amy Eaton Duffey Here is one of my crocheted topped dish towels. It will make a very nice Christmas present. Who doesn't love dish towels they can hang on their stoves!?

Hi Teresa,
I saw a package of gel grips in your giveaway #13 video, can you please tell me where I can get gel grips package. I search online but couldn't find the similar one like yours. Many thanks.

Hi Teresa,
I have a question I am hoping you can answer. Have you ever heard of the zig-zag lozenge stitch? I am going to make this hat and it calls for this stitch and I have no idea what it is. I am doing a search on google but nothing is coming up that helps. The pattern is also calling it "Dc3tog or dc2tog (Lozenge ...Stitch)" Could this be as simple as just doing 3 DC without finishing the final loops and then on the last one pull through the last loops. That sounds simple but the name Lozenge Stitch is throwing me for a loop.

Just finished crocheting more "popcorn" for my Christmas tree! My aunt made more than half of what I have, but I needed more. So easy, and so pretty! I don't know where she got the pattern, but here it is . . .
Using white worsted weight yarn and a "G" hook, leave a few inches at the beginning for adding another string ...for a larger tree. *Chain 4, 5 half double crochet in 2nd chain from hook, slip stitch between chain 4 and first half double crochet, pulling yarn on through the stitch on the hook. Repeat from * for desired length.
That's all there is to it! The best part is that it's washable! I put mine in a zippered bag and throw it in the washer and dryer!

Geneva Kennedy Teresa, For some reason, I can never find the search window on your YouTube videos. I get as far as "all" and "see all" and seem to overlook it. Help please!
