We received the following email from a fan (and will be adding it to the website)
" I was born in Nov 1964 so i didn't really get a chance to see the Association in concert or anything but I grew up in New York and the hippie scene was all over (my mom was always picking up every hitch-hiker) and the songs of the Associ...ation were my first memories of radio. I remember being 4-10 years old and always waiting to hear Cherish and Never My Love to be played. They were songs that even a small child found very beautiful and loved to sing along with. At 44 i am just looking back into those songs I heard as a small child, and to be honest I didn't even know the band that did those songs and now that I am learning about them I have to agree with many other posts I have read about the Association, THEY ARE THE MOST UNDERRATED BAND OF THE 60's! I encourage anyone interested in the music of the late 60's/early 70's to turn on the Association." Seamonkey (Alaska)Read More
