Write-ins are get-togethers for anyone working on their National Novel Writing Month masterpiece, or "just" a 50,000 word rough draft of a novel. We write, share tips, and encourage each other.
We welcome NaNos from the surrounding area, including Naples, Fort Myers and Sanibel. Need a change of scenery--literally? Come... and write in at The Bean--with a lovely warm coffee drink, house made scone or cake. The Bean kitchen will be open til 9pm; writers are welcome to stay until 10pm. (The owner of The Bean and The Queen Mary Pub is participating in NaNo this year!) If you have a late night appetite, The Queen Mary Pub is open next door until midnight Fridays.

This is a great opportunity to come out listen to LIVE MUSIC, drink some BEER (if your 21!!), and help support a good cause. Admission is free and the Keg Beer is 2 bucks a cup!! We also have coffee and tea drinks with Rockin’ with Randall cu...ps and Rockin with Randall bracelets all for sell for under 4 bucks… ALL PROCEEDS GO TO RANDALL’S FAMILY TO HELP WITH MEDICAL EXPENSES. The bands booked for the gig are: The Furies, My Cousin Grandpa, The Black Keys Project, and The Mosley Heights Band!!!
