Darren Symons When is the Blair East work scheduled to end? I missed the residents meeting? In MAY when I moved in it was going to be over by September, then end of October....am guessing it has been pushed back? All I want is an indoor parking space like I was promised when I was being showed the apartments in MARCH!

My building is under repairs, which was supposed to be finished
in August 2009. Now they are telling us January 2010. I'm not buying
it. My neighbors are
complaining of mice in their apartments do to the construction. How
healthy is
that? They plan on remodeling the laundry rooms by putting flat screens
tv on all floors. Why...? Also, I'm sure that these unnecessary remodeling
of the building will
result in rent increase. Aren't we in a recession? People do not have
money. If my rent goes up, I
will have to move out.
I have a list of complaints, I could go on. The only nice thing that I can say
is that Anne, Deidre, and Arneece who work in the office are very nice. The Blairs look nice, but it's been a lot of drama

Randolph A. Smith The Blairs finally put out an email about the rash of recent car break ins. Yes it is not smart to leave valuables in plain sight, or in the car at all. But the Blairs has failed to address the glaring fact that there security service is not very good. What is the protocol when a resident approaches a guard with a prob...lem? My car was vandalized in plain unobstructed site of a video camera...are these operational and who do we contact? Why can't our security guards tell us who to contact?

Randolph A. Smith The Blairs also need let the residents know that their have been 3 cars vandalized in the parking garage for Blair House and the Town in the past month alone! My car was broken into about 2 weeks ago. A neighbor for the Towns came out and confirmed what i all ready knew that another car before mine was vandalized, beca...use i still saw the broken glass. And to my amazement yesterday morning there was evidence of the car next to me of being vandalized, a large amount of broken glass. To add to my dismay I call Securitas directly and they haven't gotten back to me...and security at the desk knew nothing about procedure to handle a report of vandalism and did not know if the camera pointed directly at my vehicle was operational or who had access to it. Gonna make a trip to the office today with my police report. Be careful out there folks!
