How do other residents feel about the downward spiral of management? As far as I can tell, the Blairs:
1. Rarely enforces parking rules, letting non-residents park at will, and residents park in handicapped spots and in restricted areas at will.
2. Does not check for amenities passes at the pool, allowing non-resident to... swim at will.
3. Does not restrict access to the dog parks, allowing non-residents to use the dog parks at will.
This means that you pay for non-residents to take your parking space, pay for non-residents to swim, and pay for non-residents to bring their dogs to bark in your backyard. Those that follow the rules, lose. Does that bother you?

To All Dog Owners at the Blairs:
If you have a dog and walk it on the property, especially in the dog parks - PICK UP AFTER IT.
If your dog BARKS - QUIET IT PLEASE. Don't allow it to bark.
There are other residents on the property who don't want to see the remnants of your dog as they walk along or hear your dog as they ...are quietly enjoying their time in their own apartments ...
Please keep your dogs QUIET especially by the Dog Parks ... Please keep your dogs from barking! -- A concerned resident.

I wonder if anyone here has the same issue with me on the kitchen fan. I live on the 5th fl. of Blair Towers. My kitchen fan constantly makes a noise and the vibration caused by it is shaking the light cover for ceiling lights which produces another big noise. Because of it, I've had trouble in getting to sleep since I... moved in 3 weeks ago. I ended up taking the cover off, but the fan is still noisy.
Today, a staff from the business office visited my place to check it out, and he said it's a common issue to those living on the top fl. because circulation works directly from the roof. But still I think something's wrong with it because it's too noisy to live with. And I think it's cooling my room too since I feel cold in my place esp. at night. (It's August!) One night I couldn't stand the coldness, and after blocking the fan with a chopping board it got better.
Has anybody had the same issue? Any wise suggestions?

Sharyn Levine Rosenberg Will you please buy a generator for blair towns? Our power is still not fully restored after 3 days. There have been so many days without power this year- including staying in hotels annd throwing out food. It is getting to the point where it is not liveable here.

Each year the South Silver Spring Neighborhood Association throws a street festival celebrating the people, artists, musicians and merchants in and around our community. The event is free and offers something fun for everyone. Highlights from last year:
Laura Whitty Bowskill I am a mum of 2 that really enjoys the pool and park during the summer/warm months and the opportunity to meet other "blair" mums. However with the new facilities at Blair East, I was wondering if it would be possible to try and reserve the event room (if its open) for a mum and baby get together during the cooler mont...hs?? Maybe once every two weeks, on a weekday in the morning? All the mums out there that agree please leave ur comments so that we cant try and make the most of the Blair facilities and also avoid going mad having to keep our kids in doors during the cooler months! :-)
Garth Hick Talk about double standards, a recent letter to all residents advising legal action may be taken for rent not paid on the 1st. If The Blairs owe you money it takes them 2 weeks to fast track a check.
