The Book & The Spade Tuesday evening, Nov. 17th, I will be the guest of the Milwaukee Area Biblical Archaeology Society, presenting a report on "The Top Ten Most Important and Exciting Excavations of 2009." The meeting is held at Wisconsin Lutheran College on Blue Mound Road. If you're in the area, please stop by.

The Book & The Spade The latest program, #1201 with Professors Aling and Billington, is a very important program, discussing the mention of the name Yahweh in Egyptian hieroglyphics BEFORE the time the Merneptah stele inscription mentions Israel. Most Bible scholars are unaware of these mentions.
