JoDee Herschend founded The Caring People over ten years ago with a mission to bring an awareness of and a desire to meet Jesus to Single Moms. The ministry reaches out to Single Moms with love, encouragement, hope and unconditional love.

Elite Motors and a host of area sponsors present Run to the Lights November 13th at Silver Dollar City. This 5 K race is set amidst 4 million twinkling Christmas lights and has become a Branson tradition. 1,500 participants will be racing this year through the streets of Silver Dollar City.
