We're a little beekeeping operation in North Carolina. Every year we grow a little and learn a lot. Bees bring a little light to all of our lives, and certainly to the folks that have the privilege of work with them every day.

The Carolina Bee Company In process of setting up the website to start selling our soaps and lip balms online. Once that gets going, production will ramp up even more and we will hopefully be selling in a couple stores in and around the Raleigh, NC area.

Not a beekeeping, it's a book about pollination & agriculture. Of course it ends up discussing beekeeping a lot. Very well written. I recommend it to all folks. Just some food for thought, as you drink your morning coffee, thank the 2 or 3 dozen honey bees it took to make those beans for that 1 cup.

The Carolina Bee Company Made a large batch of Honey Oatmeal soap last night. Today, we will be making some lip balm, more soap, and maybe some lotion.

NC State Fair Blue Ribbons!
Todd and Monica are proud to announce that The Carolina Bee Company won blue ribbons for both mead and soap/cosmetic products at the North Carolina State Fair!
We will not sell mead, not as alcohol, but next year it will be sold in the form of Honey Vinegar!
Our blue ribbon winning soap and lip-balm will be sold next year as well! :) :) :)
We entered two events this year and won blue ribbons for both. We were ecstatic!
