This follow-up to A Life of Dissent describes Chomsky not just as an analyst or advocate, but as a "catalyst" who encourages people to become engaged,to be "dangerous" and to challenge power, on the basis of anarchist and classical liberal ideals.

Barsky is Professor of English, Comparative Literature, French, and Jewish Studies at Vanderbilt University. He is also the author of Noam Chomsky: A Life of Dissent.
