FUNDEHUMAC - The Colombia Project's partner in Magdalena, was honored with a special mention for Colombia's 2008 National Peace Prize. (Ganadores Premio Nacional de Paz 2008)
Fundación para el Desarrollo Humano y Comunitario - Fundehumac: La fundación brinda apoyo integral a niños, jóvenes y madres cabeza de familia, afectados por la pobreza y en riesgo frente a delincuencia y actores armados, con educación, capacitación, becas y proyectos productivos, en Magdalena y La Guajira. Igualmente, brinda apoyo a mujeres víctimas de abuso sexual por actores armados, a comunidades indígenas y a desplazados. Hace parte del Banco de Buenas Prácticas para Superar el Conflicto del PNUD.

The Colombia Project discussed February Partners Meeting in Colombia on the The Colombia Project discussion board.
The Colombia Project Jerry Fickel and Helene visited the APRODEFA programs in Cartagena in the rain on Saturday. It was especially nice to visit Gilmara's store in Lomas and see how it has grown and see that Ercilia in Revivir now has a part time employee.
