Although I am officially BOYCOTTING the American History Store, I guess I can bite the bullet and come in for the signing tonight. It's a tough decision to make, though. I do miss hanging around with the authors. I guess I am just another author wannabe.

And a Licensed Battlefield Guide wannabe, too.

J.D. I think in my case, I learned the most from the sections on East Cavalry Field ( I had never visited it before I bought the book, the book was a great help on the field.) and July 1.
I never had a clear picture of the flow of the battle on that day, your writing and Steven's maps helped me with that and gave me many new places I never knew ... Read Moreexisted to explore and learn about. I have a lot to learn if someday I am to achieve my goal as a Licensed Battlefield Guide, and your book certainly helps.

Wish I had David's book when I visited the battlefield, especially for the East Cavalry Field. Went there on our way out of town and spent about an hour trying to figure it all out.
