The Ego & The Oracle On the heels of a sold out show at The Boston Improv Fest, The Ego & The Oracle returns again in October for another run of Thursdays at The Burren in Davis Square. Shows at 7pm. Get your questions ready and thanks for spreading the word!
The Ego & The Oracle
Back by popular demand, The Ego & The Oracle returns once again for another run of Thursday performances at The Burren in Davis Square, Somerville.
In this era of uncertainty, The Oracle returns to provide answers!
Part improvisational theater, part cabaret, part audience participation, The Ego & The Oracle is a live st...age spectacular where "Ouija Board meets iPod Shuffle".
Audience members are invited on stage to ask personal questions of The Oracle. They then spin a giant wheel containing songs by Jim's Big Ego. When the wheel stops, the band spontaneously performs the chosen song, which is then interpreted as the answer to the question. The outcome can be humorous or moving, often both at once.
"Cheaper than calling Miss Cleo and way funnier than Jungian analysis."
Doors open at 6:30
Dinner and Drinks available at the venue
All ages, but note that there may be adult content in the show.
