SGR formula is set to trigger a 21.5% cut to the Medicare Physician Fee
Schedule on January 1, 2010. Cuts of this magnitude would undermine
the Medicare program and decrease patients' access to providers. Many
physicians may be forced to cut services to Medicare and Tricare
patients or stop seeing them altogether and w...ill severely impact our
ability to staff and run cost-effective emergency departments. Please contact Congress to advocate for an SGR fix.
