The diagram is actually Pythagorean, far before Ouspensky. This is fact, not opinion.

This Enneagram of personality is derived from Ichazo using Gurdjieff's Enneagram by mapping the ten Sephirots of the Kabbalahist Tree of Life (the 10th being reserved for the Messiah) and the Nine deadly sins onto it the way Gurdjieff thought all natural processes could be mapped onto the Enneagram.

i'd also like to point out that this is not a "rival" group, but a page created so that people could become "fans" of the enneagram. i am actually friends with the creator of the group, and just as i... am in his group, he has joined this page.
i would also hope that this page would be someplace where people could discuss ideas about the enneagram openly, without negativity from other members. kindness is my first priority here.
peter has sent me a personal message about his feelings on the "modern enneagram", and i have to admit i'm still a bit unclear on what his issue with this page is. however, and again, his opinions are merely that...his own. i don't know him personally, have never spoken to him before, and anything he says on the wall represents his views ONLY.
