Found my old strap (made from two straps), and had a little play through some of the songs.
That extra 6 inches makes a huge difference. Feels so much more comfortable low slung.......

Can anyone who's interested in making a documentary of the Firecharmers reforming let me know. Not sure if it's been done before with a small band, and fancy doing it either way.
I was going to ask a few days ago, but been a bit busy.
If it's going to happen at all though, we need to start now I suppose.
So if you want to... be the director, or know any beginner directors that might want to do it that'd be cool.
In the meantime, get video diaries on the go, and get family members or friends to ask you about the Firecharmers, and anything else from the late 80s early 90s.
If it doesn't all come together, at the very least a combo of peoples diaries and some footage of the gig should make a good souvenir DVD for anyone who wants it.

You won't all be aware of it, but I'm looking after a couple of bands now, and one is on the radio tomorrow. (These guys were the band I was expecting to have as headline act at my birthday do, as they are fucking awesome, but I think if all the old fans of the Firecharmers get wind, it may be better for us to finish o...ff).
Ji can be heard on the web (or the radio if you're lucky enough to live in Chorley FM's braodcast area).
They're doing an interview and acoustic set combo on the Flat Iron show between 8-10pm tomorrow evening (that's Wed 28th Jan).
It's likely some of the songs will be getting a first ever airing, some will be old favourites, and there'll be some news for you in the interview.....
