The First World War Poetry Digital Archive is hosted by the University of Oxford and funded by the Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC). - Mission:
- To provide free access the digitised poetry manuscripts, letters, and service records of some of the major British poets of the First World War.
To provide free access to digitised photographic, audio and film material from the Imperial War Museum relating to the First World War.
To provide a hub to enable anyone to upload their own content originating from the Great War and share it with others through the Great War Archive and the Great War Archive Flickr Group.
To provide tools and a platform to enhance learning, teaching and research of the First World War and the literature it inspired.
