Emma Resmini, age 9, will perform with the National Symphony at their Holiday Concerts, Marvin Hamlisch conducting. The shows are Dec. 10 - 13, 2009 at the Kennedy Center Concert Hall. Emma Resmini will perform 3 times at the NFA Convention:
Thursday, August 13th at 2:30pm. Emma will join Carol Wincenc for a duet during Carol's recital in the Marquis Ballroom.
Saturday, August 15th at 10:45 am. Emma plays during the Sonare Showcase.
Sunday, August 16th at 12:30 pm. Emma performs in the "Up and Coming..." recital.

Phyllis Louke A new composition of mine will have it's WORLD PREMIERE at the Flute Choir Showcase at 10:30-noon on Friday in the Empire Complex. The groups performing individually and joining forces for the premiere are NEC's Metropolitan Flute Orchestra, Florida Flute Orchestra (both directed by Paige Long) and Flutes Adlibitum fr...om Dijon, France. The new piece is "Oh, the Places We'll See!" by Phyllis Avidan Louke, pub. ALRY. Hope to see you there!

Andrew The Chesapeake Flute Consort will be performing in the Annual Convention of The National Flute Association on the 12:30 - 1:30 PM time slot on Sunday , August 16 , 2009 at the Marriott Marquis in New York City . We will be performing Walter Gieseking's SONATINE and also BLUE TRAIN by Ryohei Hirose . I hope you all can hear us !!!
