The General Theological Seminary Alumni/ae Association I just got to reading the latest The Living Church, and of course, found the article about the Roman Catholic Church welcoming Anglicans through it's doors. So many interesting points of view on the subject! I have to ask, what do you all think? I'd love to hear from you... comment below!

I have to wonder what the reality about "stings" will be for lay persons who want to continue in the Anglican Way. Will they still be restricted from communion with a Catholic congregation. And I have to suspect that there will not be a wholesale acceptance of clergy as Catholic. I also do not expect there will be a great migration from here to there. Not on my part for sure. It will be fun to watch play out.

Thanks for your take on this! I can't help but agree. As I think of those who are former Roman Catholics that I've had the pleasure of meeting here at GTS, I wonder if there aren't just as many Roman Catholics becoming Episcopalian... or perhaps more? - Bridget
