- The Georgia Ballet was founded by Iris Hensley iin 1960 with a mission to promote ballet performance and training, foster an increased public awareness and appreciation for dance, and provide dedicated and talented dancers with the opportunity for advanced level training and professional performance venues. The Georgia Ballet continues to show its commitment to the community through outreach initiatives, charitable ticket giveaways, benefit concerts, and scholarships programs.
The Georgia Ballet is committed to Arts in Education, a series of programs designed to make dance accessible and entertaining for students of all ages. All programs meet Georgia Quality Core Curriculum Standards, allowing educators the opportunity to share the Arts, specifically dance education with their students.
The Georgia Ballet School is dedicated to providing outstanding instruction in ballet and related dance styles. The school faculty, led by internationally renowned Hamburg Ballet principal artists, Gina Hyatt-Mazon and Janusz Mazon, is a small group of dedicated and enthusiastic dance education professionals. The curriculum is comprised of thirteen graded training levels, each with a written syllabus. - Products:
