Robert L. Prator Gary and I spoke at the Gwinnett Chapter meeting at the 1818 Club last night. Good turnout.
Robert L. Prator The GSCPA Fall Council meeting was yesterday at Callaway Gardens. There was a great turnout, great fellowship and great weather.... and the meeting seemed to be efficient and productive. More to come on my blog.
Robert L. Prator Gary and I spoke to the Middle Georgia Chapter today. Great meeting location and good attendance (must have been the speakers). Since we are just back from AICPA Fall Council we told the chapter members about things that are happening on the national regulatory front, among other things.
Robert L. Prator AICPA Fall Council just ended. It was a very interesting meeting. Things on the regulatory front are changing by the minute....the AICPA congressional affairs team really has their hands full. IFRS and private company financial reporting are certainly in the forefront and Accounting for Sustainability is emerging as big opportunity/responsibility for the accounting profession. More to come!
Robert L. Prator I am currently attending the AICPA Council meeting at Encore at the Wynn in Las Vegas. The first day of Council was like a "drink from a fire hose" there was so much information about issues affecting our profession. More to follow...stay tuned.

Robert L. Prator Gary and I spoke at the North Perimeter Chapter Tuesday night. We shared the two hour program with Tim Pollock and Charles Beaudrot of Morris Manning & Martin. Their presentation was technical and informative....ours was not technical, we hope it was informative. it was a good meeting.
Robert L. Prator I just spoke to the Coastal Georgia Chapter meeting in Brunswick. There was good food, a good turnout and good fellowship. Getting the opportunity to visit the chapters is fun.

Robert L. Prator Good turnout at the Northwest Chapter meeting yesterday for the first meeting in their new location. Looks like it will be a great meeting spot for them.
Robert L. Prator Speaking to the Northwest Georgia Chapter of GSCPA tomorrow at noon. Last night's meeting in Statesboro was good...big chapter support by faculty from Georgia Southern!
Robert L. Prator I'll be speaking at the Southeast Georgia Chapter of GSCPA in Statesboro tonight. Looking forward to visiting with the members.
