- The Heart of Maryland Chorus is the performing chorus of the Patapsco Valley Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society. We formed in 1982 by a merger of the Catonsville and Columbia chapters. Since then we have been increasing our membership and sharing our music within the community. Most of our members are close by in Catonsville, Ellicott City, Columbia, and Reisterstown, but we have a few brave souls making the trek from Carroll, Montgomery, and Harford Counties, too.

The chorus will sing patriotic songs as part of the Flag Day Celebration at Fort McHenry. The program will also feature military bands and will end with a fireworks display over the harbor.
