Sometimes the best benefit you can experience is helping others. HSLDA provides you the opportunity to be blessed by supporting our charitable arm, the Home School Foundation

Thanks to the generosity of HSLDA members and other supporters of homeschooling, the Foundation’s mission keeps growing. Since its inception in 1994, the Foundation has expanded to include nine funds aimed at assisting homeschooling families, students, and like-minded organizations. The Foundation reflects the dynamic, caring nature of its donors in the way it adapts to the needs of the homeschool community.

HSF helped Hurricane Katrina survivors replace lost curriculum and pay for food, shelter, and clothing. One generous donor endowed a cherished annual Foundation tradition-mailing Christmas checks to widows and their families. Most recently, HSF sent aid to homeschoolers hit hard by flooding in the Midwest.

It’s easy to take part in the Foundation’s ministry. You can donate online or through the mail, charge a monthly donation to your debit or credit card, or purchase HSLDA membership gift certificates for other families .
