THE INSOMNIACS' inspiration comes from traditional American roots of blues, R&B, jazz, and early rock and roll. They blend these influences into their own unique sound and deliver it ...with the freshness and youthful energy of rock and roll merged with the style and improvisational muscle of jazz and swing.
The Insomniacs' latest release "AT LEAST I'M NOT WITH YOU" (April 21, 2009/Delta Groove Music), the follow-up to their critically-acclaimed debut "LEFT COAST BLUES" just received the Blues Blast Award for "Best Contemporary Blues Recording" and continues to get worldwide recognition on the radio and in the marketplace, reaching #4 on both the Living Blues Chart and the Roots Music Report and #14 on the Billboard Blues Chart.
