Larry ImperialeAt Berlin FPAW09, all the young euro jammers watched the trailer, and couldn't get over the "guy" with all the discs in the garage. We quickly explained he also invented every move they were doing :-)

Donald J. CainWow, time travel is fun...Sauce here! I always enjoyed expanding people's minds with frisbee play. It was easy to show folks something they never knew a disc could do, and their reactions! It's like you knocked them out of their normal track and they were happily stunned. I just NOW realize it's my own mind that Fr......isbee still expands every time I pick it up....hooked forever. MTA anyone?

Dan DoyleWow.....some amazing flashback moments. the various trailers are quite cool. i'm not sure if it's more exciting to know we were a part of the sport's relative infancy or to be a part of its current explosion into the mainstream, although at least now i don't discover a family of four lining a disc golf basket with al......uminum foil, filling it with charcoal, and having a barbecue under the belief that they thought the baskets were new-age grilles.

John Kirkland

John KirklandLet's see -- if the disc were free in 1950 but it cost $1 for the string; and factoring in the potential string-length needed for a butyl sterate L'il Abner with a maximum range of, say (I hurriedly go into the garage, grab the most entropy-ridden candidate, run out into the street, grip those arcuate vanes and haul ba......ck to throw... then decide to guesstimate) oh, 150 ft.; vs. today's 600+ ft. behemoths? Um, I'd rather pay for the disc and get the string for free, thank you very much. Of course, since several of those early ones are now worth in the $thousands$, maybe not...
