The Kansas City Sports Commission & Foundation The Kids Fun Run at the 20th Annual Thanksgiving Day 5K & Family Stroll will be named The Tom Murphy Fun Run For Kids after long-time KC Sports Commission board member & Sprint Executive Tom Murphy who was killed in an automobile accident while vacationing in Colorado. Fundraising will benefit the Thomas Murphy III Scholarship Fund.
