The Leprosy Mission Scotland exists to raise awareness across Scotland of the plight of those affected by leprosy and to raise the necessary resources to enable to work of The Leprosy Mission in nearly 30 countries in Africa and Asia.

That work includes medical work to diagnose and cure leprosy and to care for those affected; surgery to correct some of the disabilities caused by it; physiotherapy and occupational therapy to enable people to live safely and effectively with their disabilities; education and training; rehabilitation; advocacy and anything else we can do to improve the quality of life, dignity and security of those affected by leprosy.
