I cried like a baby while viewing "The Little Red Truck". My daughter's entire childhood flashed before my eyes.
My daughter, now in her late twenties, began acting with Missoula Children's Theatre when she was five (and we resided in Missoula). My daughter appeared in every MCT production at least once.
We moved to my hometown Colorado Springs when my daughter was nine years old. She auditioned and was selected by every MCT tour team who travelled near Colorado Springs until she graduated from high school.
After completing her theatre degree in Colorado, my daughter returned to Missoula, where she completed her costume desing degree at University of Montana.
My daughter has truly "come full circle", as she has been employed by MCT for the last two years.
I thoroughly enjoyed singing along to the fun and familiar lyrics in "The Little Red Truck", particularly my very favorite MCT production of all time: "Beauty Lou and the Country Beast". I was surprised to see that two females, rather than two males (like in the past) comprised the "Beauty Lou" tour team.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THE SENTIMENTAL MEMORIES! "The Little Red Truck" is a MUST SEE for anyone who has ever had the good fortune of being involved with MCT. For those viewers who haven't, "The Little Red Truck" will motivate you to someday be involved with MCT!
