The LiveSoc Jam Session

Jam sessions originated in the days of the great jazz musicians, but are still a fantastic resource for modern performers.

They allow you to meet fellow musicians, to learn how to improvise, to try your hand at different genres and perhaps most importantly, to have fun. That's why you picked up an instrument, right?

So whatever you play and whatever your genre of choice, if you have a couple of hours to spare, why not make it down to one of the LiveSoc Jam Sessions?

Typically we play a few genre improvisations based around a chord progression, before moving onto some covers, so even if you're not too clued up on music theory, or would rather try singing there's still an opportunity to join in.
