ahead of its time. the cell phone is credited as discovered here. open channel d. CIA would often come and check out the set, state secrest the concern. eventually discoverd parallel discoveries. the CIA guys late came on and watched just to see a tv show done. alls well that ends well.

I remember reading in Danny Biederman's wonderful book about TV spies entitled The Incredible World of Spy Fi, that writers for Get Smart hung around the UNCLE set to get ideas. I highly recommend it.

Been an UNCLE fan since day one....BUT...not saying much of season 3 when we can only agree on Five Daughters AFFAIR AS BEING THE BEST OF THE LOT. Can say, I liked Season Three's Theme music better.....hmmm.
