The Monty Yanks

The Monty Yanks are a four-piece rock and roll construction crew, a kindergarten class of crafts, a radio jet of blistering performers - ultimately, a group of musicians who bring a passionate intensity and honesty to each and every performance. Their sound is characterized by raspy vocals that play out like an early Dylan or Reed, manic lead-playing drenched in dissonance and warmth, and a frenzied rhythm section. After developing their craft at over 100 shows, and captivating audiences at dozens of venues throughout Winnipeg, The Monty Yanks are ready to release their debut, self-titled EP.
