It is hard for the child to sympathize with the parent when he pulls down his pants and gives him a "good" whack, and a few more for "good" measure. Some kids grow up to resent correction. Other become ... Read Moregrateful. Some folks never learn. Others blossom. God Willing, the few bad apples won't rot the entire barrel.

At any rate, I doubt if the holy prophet was an anti semite, just like I doubt if a parent that chastises a rebellious child is anti children. God Knows Best. Anyway I can see the analogy that you pulled out of this story that I am totally unfamiliar with. It that vein it has much moral value in my poor pitiful opinion.
