The Myth of LOST
In James Cameron's upcoming epic sci-fi/fantasy/war flick "Avatar," Jake Sully, a paraplegic war veteran undergoes an alternate reality-inspired program, called Avatar to infiltrate an alien planet's indigenous population. Can you think of another sci-fi story where a paraplegic goes to a strange land where he can sudd...enly walk and lead people to victory in a war of sorts?
In "The Myth of Lost," I talk about how and why I think Locke is on the island. If anyone is interested, feel free to discuss how "The Myth of Lost" theory might explain the two Locke's on the island in the spoiler section of the discussions on this page. I'll be happy to add my thoughts too.
Watch the Avatar trailer with the link below, it may give you some ideas. Hint: notice how the program allows Jake to be in two places simultaneously.

December 8th, 2009: Segment 6 of "Mysteries of the Universe" is an update to the older segments that brings up Olivia Goodspeed and claims to have tracked her down. Apparently she had returned to the real world, and when pressed by the show, refused to talk about DHARMA. No, I haven't traveled into the future, this inf...o is available on the Season 5 DVD which I saw a sneak peak of: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0019LY5IM/?tag =orowriter-20
I discuss this 6th segment along with the other five under "Mysteries of the Universe" in the Discussions section of this page. Just click on Discussions above or copy and paste this link: http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?uid=34 096821137&topic=9722

The Myth of LOST
Segment 5 of "Mysteries of the Universe" (see 7/26, 8/4, 9/9, & 10/15 posts below for 1-4) mentions a mistaken food supply air drop on the isle of Tonga and sums up the other 4 parts. I discuss this newest segment and Part 6 which is only on the DVD under "Mysteries of the Universe" in the Discussions section:

The Myth of LOST
I was treated to an early preview of the LOST 5th Season Blu-ray DVD last night, and I have to say, I was impressed! It featured cool deleted scenes like Sun asking Locke why he never came to visit her and Faraday's full explanation about variables. The special effects segments were also very interesting! I was wonderi...ng how they did the flaming arrows scene, car crashes, and the stormy scene on the outrigger canoe. Plus we also get to see what all the writers actually look like (one of them looked like my doppelganger), some cool commentary from Damon, Carlton, and a couple other writers, some pretty funny bloopers and more!
Check it out at Amazon at the link below or for the regular (non Blu-Ray) version, click (or copy and paste) this link: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0019LY5IM/?tag =orowriter-20
The DVD is released in the States one month from today--but you can pre-order it now!

Damon talks about this in his interview: "Way back in Season 2, we found out about this thing, CERN. It's this gigantic particle accelerator that they're going to turn on, this multi-billion dollar project." Robert Sawyer's novel FlashForward sets his novel at CERN...

The Myth of LOST I just noticed that both Dylan Simcoe and Simon (Charlie from "LOST") on "Flash Forward" have the word "sim" in their names. Sim as in "simulation"? Sim like Leonard Simms from "LOST"? I spoke about the relevance of Leonard's name in my book. It may be the same here. We shall see...

The Myth of LOST Will Walt be coming back? Will Libby's story be revealed? Will Lapidus play a bigger role in Season 6? These questions and more are discussed in an interview with Lindelof. In addition, Lindelof compares the Season 6 LOST poster to the most famous "Paul Is Dead" clue in the Beatles' Abbey Road poster (Paul holding the ...cigarette in his right hand when he was a lefty). Interestingly, I made the same comparison in my comments about the poster below (posted 9/12/09). I guess there's something to that...
