Denise Thomas I miss the Oregon Coast so much. I used to go their a lot when I lived in Portland, and haven't been there in almost 20 years. Hopefully when I visit Portland in March, I can stray off the trail and hit the coast again!

Sheila Keim I Love the Oregon Coast. I want to be buried at sea right off the coast near Haystack Rock. I used to take my son the when we lived on our own. It was a good and Happy time for both of us. I think I will take my dad there with me when I go! He always loved to play in the water.

I agree!!! I miss it. I know live in Pennsylvania.Pretty but there is no place more breathtaking then the coastline in Oregon. I miss Newport and Sea Lion Caves. Hope I can visit soon.

Jaci Bindley I just love the beach by the lighthouse in Agate Beach. Listening to the tide ebb and flow over the black rocks. It is such an awesome feeling and sound. You could be in the worst mood and just a few minutes there you are smiling.

I agree Jaci. Alaska has some beautiful beaches also, but they aren't the same come wintertime. It gets too cold and the ice pack prevents walking. Sadly my beach days are over here til spring. That means it's time to break out my polisher and get my agates and glass tumbling, all the while dreaming of a winter vacation.....somewhere like the Oregon Coast.

I would so love to go to Alaska, Vanice.... and see the Northern Lights... there is a snow train that I can not remember where...but it looks like so much fun and that is included on my list of adventures. :-) I hope you can get back to Oregon and get that vacation soon. Have fun with the polisher.
