The Park People of Milwaukee County, Inc.
Please join us on Thursday, November 12th at Zilli’s Coast restaurant (931 E. Wisconsin Ave.) from 5:30 pm – 8:00ish to celebrate The Milwaukee County Parks and the role The Park People play in keeping our parks green!
TPP support “friends groups” throughout the county and helps raise money to fund projects in our par...ks not covered by the county budget. Mingle with Parks Director Sue Black and her staff. Director Black is the recent recipient of the prestigious National Recreation and Park Association's Gold Medal Award. Meet The Park People Board of Directors, an impressive (and fun!) group.
The event is FREE due to the generosity of Jim Zilli and Zilli’s restaurant. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served along with one free drink coupon. I might even buy your second round.
We will also be selling our raffle tickets. If you can’t make this event, please consider supporting us by purchasing a raffle ticket. Tickets are $5 each or 6 for $25 and you’ll have a chance to win one of these great prizes:
· Season pass for green fees at any Milwaukee County Golf Course
· Season pass for admission to the Boerner Botanical Gardens
· Season pass for admission to Mitchell Park Domes (including the Music Under the Glass Series!)
