The People's March Against Knife Crime: London September 20th 2008 The aim of this march is to simply say enough is enough...as a society we can no longer sit back and pretend this isn't happening. Just because some of us have not been directly effected does not mean that together we cannot initiate change. How on earth did we even get to this stage where kids are killing kids...for w...hat?? gangs, drugs, postcodes or looking at some one the wrong way. if we dont do something now, this cycle will continue and the kids of today will become the knife carriers of tomorrow. We have never claimed to know the answers, but we passionately believe that through unification great things can occur....we the people can make a difference.Although we keep talking about 'the people' we know that the government have a major part to play. we are hoping to create a big enough impact and show that ordinary people care, so that the powers above will seriously start to address the root causes.
