The Picture Show

The Picture Show are one of London's most promising unsigned bands. The twin strengths of the Picture Show lay in their cathartic live shows and in the darkly romantic folk-indie songbook of frontman Alexei Chityan. A band hailed by some such as XFM as London's answer to Elbow and the band most hotly tipped by the Fly to join gig-buddies the Editors into the hearts and minds of the national indie heartlands, The Picture Show are now newly focused. With a collection of ghostly, timeless melodies as much influenced by Russian folk as by the Cure and Radiohead, they are fast emerging to reclaim their rightful place at the head of the indie pack.
