The Pinhole Camera

The Pinhole Camera The Pinhole Camera interviews artist María Luisa Santos Cuéllar. María is a featured artist in the book and I really enhoy her work. She carries a pinhole camera with her daily, capturing the common objects of her environment. Like many of the previously featured artists, her work is whimsical, enjoyable, and off-beat.

Cheryl

Cheryl Each year I do a pinhole camera unit with my HS chemistry class. I have them make their own camera, trouble shoot it, take photos, and process them in my storeroom. I'm looking forward to starting this year's class on their pinhole adventure in January!

The Pinhole Camera Learn about Solargraphy in our new blog installment. Solargraphy is the technique of photographing the sun and the path of the sun through the sky with an extended pinhole exposure. Say what? Yeah, that was a mouthful! To put it more simply, you can photograph the sun as it tracks across the sky. The exposure can last days, weeks, or even months.
