The Portland Express I know I've been off the grid for a while, but I'll spare the gory details and just say that as soon as I get settled, the drawing table light goes back on and Chapters 24 & 25 hit the rack, and I have to say that these will be the best ones I have knocked out so far. You still haven't told me what you think of The B...ench of Lorenzo Antonini yet tho. I'm curious, as it's my favorite one to date.
The Portland Express Just finished the roughs on Chapter 24 and 25. I may post them with a very short duration between. Then again, I may just let you stew for another week as 24 chapters all converge in one single panel. Let us say that things is about to gets pretty dangerous for our little hero and his friends. What's that old sayin...g? "The only easy day was yesterday."

The Portland Express Chapter 23 will be ready this weekend. Coffee, met laptop. Laptop, met death. laptop is fried. have to type with cutting and pasting the letters individually. but something to ponder. when does ones service to others truly end?
The Portland Express Chapter 22 is posted. This has been a pretty big challenge with all the reference material I needed to get it right. Every single panel, almost needed some kind of reference material, but I think I got it nailed. Take a read and lemme know what you think. Capter 23, "The Bench of Renzo Antonini" is next, but THIS o...ne, I want to take my time with because it's a very special story.
The Portland Express All of the artwork for Chapter 22 is done. But I am re-writing the dialogue. This was a tough one, but you shouldn't notice that when you read it. Expect it this evening.

The Portland Express Starting on The Portland Express, Chapter 22. It should have been in the can days ago, but I blame Call of Duty for calling me away. And the research for this one has been less than adequate, tough not for lack of trying. Finding period pics of San Fran just isn't possible pre Golden Gate Bridge.
The Portland Express Expect Chapter 22 to be ready this weekend. I'll be honest. Call of Duty 6 ate a LOT of my time. :) But I have it down and it will be worth the wait. And MAN I can't wait till Chapter 23. It's a special one I have wanted to write for, going on 10 years now. It's a little kooky, a little off the wall, but like all middl...e chapters in the series, it's going to fit in nicely.

The Portland Express Chop Chop is the cook. I think he's too fat to be a spy though. Expect the spy to be revealed by his own actions by, oh, say....Chapter 29. I hate to drag that plot line out, but you probably will have more than enough to keep you occupied till then. I can honestly say that the next 10 chapters will be the fastest ...ones, and have been the most fun to date to write.
