The late game is also much better for those students that are going home for Thanksgiving, which will be the vast majority of them. It gives them time to enjoy the holiday AND get back for the game.

Melody Easingwood Barberich My grandddaughter plays bari sax and is trying to find fingering for low A. Any suggestions? She tried Google to no avail? Thanks!

I just found a comment on a site that said that all saxes have the same fingerings, but that the bari sax also plays a low a "via a lever below the left thumb." My daughter plays tenor. I'll ask her to check with one of her friends.
Here is a link to a fingering chart:

Barbara LeDonne King

Barbara LeDonne King Thanks to all the band members for showing so much class in a classless environment. We're proud of you and appreciate all the hard work you put in to represent the university and state so well. Perhaps the administration at UC should take a few lessons from you re: hospitality and common courtesy.

Penny Batty

Penny Batty Just heard that the athletic dept at the U of Cincinnati is not allowing the Pride of WV Marching Band to perform on the field at any time tonight. Just wondering why? I remember the U of C band coming to Mountaineer Field back in about 2003 or 2004 - after they joined the Big East. Did they perform on our field? I can not recall.

Not only did they NOT let them perform on the field; the athletic director sent his assistants to tell Mr. Drury last night that they did NOT want The Pride playing in the stands, either, and would make them LEAVE if they continued.

Some Cincy fans were throwing beer and peanuts at members of The Pride. What a complete lack of class, and some ... See MoreSERIOUS disrespect. After the game, a few Cincy fans did tell us that they were disappointed that The Pride wasn't allowed to play, and that they were going to contact their AD about it.
