Just returned from Frisco on Sat. the 26th. We were there for 2 weeks. We always stay in Avon or further south due to the congestion. I was really surprised how crowded it was for this time of year. (we always go 2 weeks in Sept. and 2 in May.)
No sea shells....and unable to fish in our favorite place...where the o...ld hatteras lighthouse use to be...as they were having surfing contests there. I saw alot of buildings going up in Hatteras Village and Frisco. I was really disappointed this time. Is our OBX getting too commercialized? I use to love to go there as it was peaceful and quiet--a great get away. There should be laws forbidding any new condos etc with so many places down there already for sale.Read More

Sharon We are almost to our October vacation in the Outer Banks with our 2 Dalmatians. We are soooooooo ready to come now but alas someone has to keep working a little bit longer so we can all enjoy our yearly trip there!!!!!!!!
