The Reclamation Project

The Reclamation Project http://www.reclamationproject.net/events/event_details.asp?id=82958

Please join us on November 14th at 10:00 am on Miami Beach as we engage Lincoln Road store owners in our eco-art effort. We will be meeting at the New World Symphony's Lincoln Theater on Pennsylvania and Lincoln Road (across from the Starbucks).

Volunte...ers will install the seedlings in water-filled plastic cups on the retail windows of Lincoln Road (a location where they would have naturally grown decades ago) and ask store owners to care for them for a couple of months before they are collected and planted on Biscayne Bay.

You can see images of some of the "adopted" seedlings hanging at storefronts the last couple of years by visiting:

Also, to get a sense of the process, see our video at:

I appreciate your enthusiasm for this important participatory art project aimed at creating new habitats above and below the waterline.

To RSVP or for more information, please contact our director Fernando Bretos at nandobretos@yahoo.com or (305)968-8457
